A room refresh that can move with you.
Start with reversible changes and the things you already like. This is a practical planning guide, not a building specification.
Look before buying
Take a daylight photo from a corner. List the furniture and objects you want to keep. Observe how you move through the room and identify one spot that feels inconvenient. A useful brief might be “make the reading corner feel calmer without drilling or replacing the sofa.”
Build a small palette
Pick a color already present in a favorite rug, print or cushion. Try one supporting color in a movable textile. Check a real fabric swatch in both daylight and evening light before buying a full set.
Measure the real constraints
Measure furniture widths, doorways and the space used by opening doors or drawers. Record units. A photo-based visual is not proof that a piece will fit. Keep clear walking routes and avoid obstructing heaters and exits.
Choose reversible changes
Try rearranging small decor, swapping cushion covers or moving a freestanding lamp. Review your rental agreement and ask the owner before attaching, painting or changing fixtures. Installation, wiring and structural questions belong with qualified professionals.
Make one change and review it
Live with a small change for a few days. Keep what makes the room work better, then choose the next step within your budget. The AISim room sample can help organize your preferences into an editable brief.
