Terms of Service.

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Plain-language summaries at the top of every section. The formal text follows. If anything's unclear, write to hi@aisim.com.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

// in plain wordsBy using AISIM you agree to these terms. You must be 18+.

By creating an account or using aisim.com, you agree to these Terms of Service.

The service is only for people 18 years or older. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What the service is (and isn't)

// in plain wordsAISIM is AI practice with fictional personas. It is not real advice — not legal, not immigration, not medical, not career. Your real-world outcomes are yours.

AISIM provides AI-simulated practice conversations with fictional personas — interviewers, visa officers, panel members, managers, clients, and similar. Every persona is fictional; any resemblance to real people is coincidental.

Simulations, scores, and feedback are for practice and general information only. They are not, and must not be relied on as, professional, legal, immigration, medical, financial, or career advice.

AI can be inaccurate, uneven, or biased. Real interviews, negotiations, visa decisions, and other real-world outcomes depend on many factors outside our control and are solely your responsibility.

3. Practice-only ethics

// in plain wordsAISIM is for rehearsal, not deceit. Don't use it to trick real interviewers or officers live. We don't build live-interview assistance and we won't.

You agree not to use AISIM to deceive third parties in live settings — for example, by streaming a real interviewer's voice into AISIM to generate answers on the fly.

We do not offer live-interview assistance and we will not build it. AISIM exists to make you ready before the room, not to cheat inside it.

4. Accounts

// in plain wordsUse real info, keep your login safe, one account per person.

Provide accurate account information. Keep your credentials confidential.

One account per person. You are responsible for activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

// in plain wordsDon't abuse the platform, don't try to extract other users' data, don't scrape or resell. Keep leaderboard names clean.

You agree not to: attack, overload, or disrupt the service; attempt to access other users' data; reverse engineer the service; scrape it with automated tools; or resell access.

Leaderboard display names must not be offensive, harassing, impersonating, or otherwise objectionable. We may rename, hide, or remove entries at our discretion.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your content

// in plain wordsYour transcripts, photos, and custom scenarios are yours. You give us just enough licence to run the service. Share cards go public only when you publish them.

You retain ownership of your transcripts, uploaded photos, and custom scenarios ("User Content").

You grant AISIM the limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence needed to operate the service on your behalf — to store your content, process it for scoring, and render share cards you create.

A share card becomes public only if you press Publish. You can unpublish it any time. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

7. Paid plans and billing

// in plain wordsTwo paid plans. Interview Sprint is a one-time purchase: 120 voice minutes across 7 days, no auto-renewal, unused minutes expire. Pro is a monthly subscription with a monthly minutes allowance you can cancel any time. Payments run through Razorpay and PayPal.

AISIM Pro is a monthly subscription that includes 80 practice minutes per billing period, priced at ₹1,199 per month in India and $14 per month internationally. Unused minutes do not roll over between periods.

You can cancel Pro at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the plan continues until then.

The Interview Sprint is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It does not auto-renew and will never charge you again on its own. It costs ₹1,899 in India or $44 internationally and grants a fixed allowance of 120 voice minutes for a fixed window of 7 days. The window starts at the moment of purchase. Any minutes you have not used when the 7-day window ends expire and do not roll over, and access reverts to the free tier. You may buy another Sprint at any time, including immediately after one ends. Refunds on a Sprint follow the refund clause below.

Minute Boost packs add 30 minutes for ₹599 in India or $7 internationally. They are one-time purchases and are non-refundable once any of the minutes have been consumed.

Payments are processed by Razorpay (for payments in Indian rupees, including cards, UPI and netbanking) and PayPal (for international payments in US dollars). We never receive or store your full card number or bank credentials — the payment provider handles those directly. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount and currency, the provider's transaction and subscription identifiers, and the status of the payment.

Refunds. If you are unhappy with AISIM, you may request a refund within 7 days of your first charge on a plan, provided you have used fewer than 20 voice minutes on that plan. Refunds are issued pro-rata on unused value, to the original payment method, within 7 working days of approval. This applies to both the Interview Sprint and Pro. Requests after 7 days, or after 20 voice minutes have been used, are at our discretion. To request a refund, email hi@aisim.com from the address on your account. Nothing here limits any statutory refund rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. A price change never applies retroactively to an existing subscription: if you subscribed to Pro before a change, your price and your minute allowance stay as they were for as long as that subscription remains active, and the new price applies only if you cancel and subscribe again. Subscriptions taken out before 20 August 2026 remain on their original price with a 100-minute monthly allowance. An Interview Sprint you have already bought keeps the 120 minutes you paid for. Applicable taxes are additional where required.

8. Free tier

// in plain wordsThe free tier gives you 2 sims in total for the life of the account — not per day — capped at 2 minutes each, plus 1 custom scenario. The first runs at Realistic, the second at Nightmare, and you get the full Sim Report on both. After that, running another sim requires a paid plan. We may change these limits and we may throttle abuse.

The free tier includes a lifetime total of 2 sims per account, each with a hard 2-minute cap. It does not renew daily or monthly. The first free sim runs at Realistic difficulty and the second at Nightmare difficulty, and the full Sim Report is generated for both. The free tier also includes 1 custom scenario. Accounts created before 20 August 2026 that had already used more than 2 free sims keep every report they have already generated; the lifetime limit applies to them from their next run onwards. These limits may change; the current values are always shown on the pricing page.

We may add automated guards against abuse of the free tier, including rate limits and suspensions.

9. Our intellectual property

// in plain wordsThe AISIM name, design, personas, and product are ours. Feedback you send us can help us improve.

The AISIM name, logo, product design, personas, scoring system, and other service content are owned by AISIM or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without obligation to you.

10. Disclaimers

// in plain wordsThe service is provided "as is." AI can be wrong. We don't promise it's always available or always accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or the accuracy of AI output.

11. Limitation of liability

// in plain wordsIf something goes wrong, our total responsibility is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months. No indirect damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AISIM will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, opportunities, data, or goodwill.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid to AISIM in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 20.

12. Termination

// in plain wordsYou can delete your account from Settings. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Your data → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and hard-deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

13. Governing law and changes

// in plain wordsStandard housekeeping: which law applies, how we announce changes, and how to reach us.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

We will notify users of material changes to these terms with a reasonable notice period. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
